MARKED 100% Whey Protein isn’t ‘Spiked’ with Extra Amino Acids

MARKED 100% Whey Protein isn’t ‘spiked’ with extra amino acids – the protein on the label is the true amount of protein in the product.

Independent testing shows that some brands use ingredients other than just protein to arrive at the protein content.

We take great care developing our MARKED products, using only the purest, most premium ingredients and scientifically designed formulas. We also go out of our way to only make claims on our labels that are truthful and accurate. This includes using an independent lab to test the protein content to ensure the grams of protein listed on the label equals the grams actually in the product.

Not all brands do this. They use a product’s nitrogen level as the basis for determining how much protein to claim on the label. Nitrogen from non-protein sources, such as creatine and amino acids, get added to the protein content calculation. For these brands, when a product label reads 30 grams of protein, not all 30 grams are actually protein.

“I have always been committed to living a healthy, active lifestyle, but to prepare for my role in “Pain & Gain” I needed to bulk up significantly,” Wahlberg said. “That’s why I incorporated MARKED into my wellness routine. The MARKED formulas were critical in helping me gain over 40 pounds of muscle for this physically demanding role.”

Paramount Pictures’ “Pain & Gain” is an action comedy starring Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson and Anthony Mackie based on the unbelievable true story of a group of personal trainers in 1990s Miami who, in pursuit of the American Dream, get caught up in a criminal enterprise that goes horribly wrong. Produced by Donald De Line, Michael Bay and Ian Bryce.  Based on the magazine articles by Pete Collins. Screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.  Directed by Michael Bay.

Making a MARK on Men’s Fitness

Results are not foreign to Mark Wahlberg—especially in the gym. In Mark’s exclusive interview with Men’s Fitness magazine he shares details about how he incorporates MARKED nutrition into his exercise regimen and his upcoming role in “Pain and Gain” (a movie about a pair of Florida bodybuilders trapped in an extortion ring).

On his workout regimen:

“I’ve always wanted to try to do it all. Right now, I’m shooting 12 hours a day, I go to bed early, get up at 4 a.m. to train, then I eat, take my supplements, spend some time on my lines, and get to work.”

On MARKED Nutrition:

“I always wanted to be in the health and wellness business; I tested the products and felt the results. They’re the best products on the market.”

On the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation:

“Too many kids have fallen through the cracks; I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night if I had this amazing life and didn’t give back.”
